Harry Cannon FNRAH MAPHP (ACC) MIMDHA is a Harley Street specialist in Advanced Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Psychotherapy and Counselling. He is the head of both the Carterton Therapy Practice in Carterton, West Oxfordshire, Oxford and also head of the Harley Street Practice in London. Initially studying Hypnotherapy and NLP in 1988 Harry then went on to become certified through the UK's Hypnotherapy Control Board in Hypnotherapy and Hypno-Analysis (Psychodynamic Psychotherapy incorporating hypnosis). He later became (by invitation only) a registered practicing member of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts (IAH). During his membership to the IAH he was honoured by the association by being offered a seat on their council of management. This was in recognition of his dedication to the association and the help he constantly offered his fellow members.

After further study, Harry went on to become a member of the 'National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists', where he now holds the position of Vice-President.

In 2007 Harry was once again honoured, this time by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association of the United States of America (IMDHA) by being awarded a life membership to the association in recognition of his tireless work in forwarding the ethical use of Hypnotherapy.

Harry is also a graduate of the Listening Ear Foundation and as such is also qualified in Active Listening skills and Counselling.

On-going professional development

Harry has committed himself to, a base minimum of 30 hours of advanced training per year above the demands of his general practice.

Supervision

As well as receiving regular supervision, Harry is himself a supervisor and Training Analyst. He provides formal supervision on a regular basis to therapists of several different disciplines within the psychotherapeutic profession.
